401 Alert (QBO)
Cause
This is caused when the QuickBooks Online account used to sign in to FieldEdge was not the master admin account. FieldEdge will not have sufficient permissions to perform the actions and will cause an alert.
Resolution
The FieldEdge user will need to go disconnect and sign into QuickBooks Online through the following steps. Please be aware that certain FieldEdge users will not have access to these pages. If this is the case, please reach out to a FieldEdge Admin or Manager in your office for assistance.
1. From the FieldEdge home page, click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
2. Select Accounting System Integration.
3. Next, choose Disconnect.
4. Once the page reloads, select Reconnect.
Note: This will take you to the QuickBooks Online log-in page. Login with admin credentials
5. Finally, retry all alerts.
