Job Reports (Premier Feature Enhancement)
With FieldEdge Premier, we’ve strived to bring you more advanced reporting capabilities for insight into business metrics that matter most. In this release, we've added a series of new Job-specific reports to help ensure they progress as planned. This new reporting at the Job level will also help you evaluate your closed jobs, for easy comparison to company and department key performance goals.
Unique Account IDs for Customer Records.
There's a new optional global setting where you can choose to include a unique Account ID with your customer naming convention. Once the new setting is enabled, the Account ID will automatically assign sequential IDs to the Display Name field upon customer creation. This new Account ID can be seen throughout FieldEdge where the Display Name is visible and searchable, making it easier to find and distinguish between customer records.
We'll be making it easier for technicians to log into their FieldEdge mobile app by enabling login via Face and Touch ID on all iOS devices with these capabilities. This new authentication will allow techs to login using their thumbprint or face scan instead of entering a full username and password, as long as these permissions are enabled within their device Settings. Expect to see similar functionality for Android-specific devices soon!
All mobile updates are expected to be released the week of April 26th. Watch out for our update in the app store to ensure you receive these improvements.
