Consumer Portal Updates
Users that are integrated with FieldEdge Payments have always been able to allow their customers to view and pay their invoices online through the consumer portal. With this update, if you are utilizing FieldEdge Payment, your customers can now view, accept, and pay quote options online.

Employee Permission Cleanup
With this update, employee settings have been renamed to "Do Not Finalise Work Order from Mobile" and "Allow Finalizing from Web." This should clearly identify the options of what employees have permission to finalize work orders and from what FieldEdge platform. This update only applies to the name of the setting and does not impact the functionality of any existing selections for your employees.
Items Screen Cleanup
If you are using QuickBooks Online, you will no longer see the information popup explaining how the average cost for inventory items is being calculated.
Over the past couple of months, our mobile team has partnered with several members to better understand frustrations with the mobile application. As a result, we’ve made over 20 enhancements, including improvements to offline mode, the user experience when uploading photos, and the process for creating and editing work orders. All of these updates resulted in significant improvements in stability and performance on mobile.
All mobile updates are expected to be released the week of November 9th. Watch out for our update in the app store to ensure you receive these improvements.
