Add or Save Customer

Whenever a customer or prospect is added or saved the following information will be added or updated in Mailchimp for the record associated with the primary email address. If additional email addresses exist for that customer, no data on those records will be changed in Mailchimp.

  • Merge Tags
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Company Name
    • All address fields
    • The primary email address
  • Contact Tags
    • Primary – This will be applied to the email address labeled as the Primary for this customer.
    • NewCustomer – This tag will only be applied when a new customer is created.
    • Prospect – This tag will not appear if the record in FieldEdge is created as a Customer.
    • Customer Type - Example: if this is set to Residential, a Residential tag will be applied to the contact in Mailchimp.

Work Order Completed

Whenever the last technician assigned to a work order completes it the following information will be added to Mailchimp for the record associated with the primary email address.

  • Merge Tags
    • <None>
  • Contact Tags
    • WorkOrderComplete
    • Any tags associated with the work order in FieldEdge will come over as tags in Mailchimp too.

Pending Quote Created

As soon as a pending quote is saved the following information will be added to Mailchimp for the record associated with the primary email address. Note that future changes to the quote status in FieldEdge will not transfer to Mailchimp, so be sure to craft your message with that in mind.

    • Quote Amount
    • Quote Date
    • Quote Number
    • Quote Sales Person
  • Contact Tags
    • NewQuote

Part Warranty Expiration

On the day that equipment comes out of part’s warranty, the following information will be added or updated in Mailchimp for the record associated with the primary email address. If additional email addresses exist for that customer, no data on those records will be changed in Mailchimp.

  • Merge Tags
    • Parts Warranty Date
    • Parts Warranty Equipment – for each piece of equipment coming out of part’s warranty at that time. There is a limit of 255 characters for this field, so it is possible this data could be cut off in some extreme circumstances.
  • Contact Tags
    • PartsExpiration

Labor Warranty Expiration

On the day that equipment comes out of labor warranty, the following information will be added or updated in Mailchimp for the record associated with the primary email address. If additional email addresses exist for that customer, no data on those records will be changed in Mailchimp.

  • Merge Tags
    • Labor Warranty Date
    • Labor Warranty Equipment – for each piece of equipment coming out of part’s warranty at that time. There is a limit of 255 characters for this field, so it is possible this data could be cut off in some extreme circumstances.
  • Contact Tags
    • LaborExpiration

Equipment Anniversary

The day after new equipment is added the following information will be added or updated in Mailchimp for the record associated with the primary email address. If additional email addresses exist for that customer, no data on those records will be changed in Mailchimp.

Part Replacement Date

On the day that equipment reaches its replacement date, the following information will be added or updated in Mailchimp for the record associated with the primary email address. If additional email addresses exist for that customer, no data on those records will be changed in Mailchimp.

  • Merge Tags
    • Installed On Date
    • Installed On Equipment – this shows each type of equipment that was installed the previous day as well as the street address of where it is located. There is a limit of 255 characters for this field, so it is possible this data could be cut off in some extreme circumstances.
    • Replace Date
    • Replace Equipment
  • Contact Tags
    • InstalledOn
    • ReplaceDate

Missed Visit

On the day that FieldEdge creates a missed agreement visit the following information will be added or updated in Mailchimp for the record associated with the primary email address. If additional email addresses exist for that customer, no data on those records will be changed in Mailchimp.

Note: a missed visit is created if an agreement work order is not created by the next visit data shown on the Agreements List.

    • Missed Visit Date
    • Missed Visit Task
  • Contact Tags
    • MissedVisit

Missed Invoice

On the day that FieldEdge creates a missed agreement invoice the following information will be added or updated in Mailchimp for the record associated with the primary email address. If additional email addresses exist for that customer, no data on those records will be changed in Mailchimp.

Note: a missed invoice is created if an agreement invoice is not created by the next invoice data shown on the Agreements List.

    • Missed Invoice Date
    • Missed Invoice Amount
