How to use Tags on the Dispatch Board

If a customer or a job has a lot of work orders, it may be difficult to find the one you are looking for. In addition, it can be difficult to find a particular work order on the Dispatch Board when you have hundreds listed in a certain group (unassigned, assigned, Completed, or Backorder).

Tags provide customers the flexibility to identify work orders. The ability to add tags to work orders will help office users save time searching for work orders.

Examples:

When a Tag is entered into FieldEdge, the tag will be hyphenated.

  • Manager Approved
  • Needs Approval
  • Multi-tech Assignment
  • (Zone labeling)
  • (Community name)
  • Print/Mail Invoice
  • Return Visit Needed
  • Permit Required

How To:

The following information will help you create a Tag in FieldEdge.

1. In FieldEdge, go to Settings and click on Tags in the Company section.

2. Click into the Tag Name field.

3. Enter the unique identification for your tag.

4. When finished click Create.
