Error adding expense to QuickBooks while sending to quickbooks desktop:Call to QuickBooks failed with error 'Missing posting account. Error Code 3270' on BillPaymentCreditCardAddRs

Cause

There is an incorrect account being flagged in one or both fields.

Resolution

In FieldEdge, click on Settings and then select Global Settings. The posting account should be a limited liability account for the expense. The payment account should be a Bank or Cash type account used to make the payment or the expense. Check with your accountant or book keeper to determine the correct accounts based on these requirements.
