Classes are a great way to departmentalize your income, costs, payroll, and expenses. With proper class utilization, you'll be able to filter and customize your QuickBooks reports to show a class breakdown of your financial information.

  • Note: Some accounting workflows recommended creating a separate GL account for your departments. This is NOT recommended when using FieldEdge and should not be used. Instead, a Class should be created and used to report on this information.
