Added: PO Tracking and Parts Requests

Your customers manage to run into all sorts of challenges, so it's not unusual to need more parts to finish the job. With Part Requests, FieldEdge provides end-to-end capabilities to make ordering and tracking parts easier.

  • (From Mobile) Technicians can now submit requests for additional parts
  • Office users will now receive notifications when requests need review
  • Office users can quickly post Purchase Orders to QuickBooks to track material costs on the Work Order and ensure coordination with the warehouse
  • Office users can view the status of Backordered Work Orders, view expected delivery dates, and receive notifications when parts have been received

Added: (From Mobile) Technicians can Select Additional Custom Forms

Consistent documentation helps ensure work quality, but needs can change based on the type of Customer Equipment or the Task at hand. With this release, technicians have the ability to select additional forms to Complete their assigned Work Order.

Added: Ability to switch between Day, Week, and Month views on Dashboard

Keeping track of your business and team is an ongoing effort, so you need the ability to get timely reports without waiting on monthly data. The Dashboard now provides the ability to toggle between Day, Week, and Monthly views, allowing you to quickly observe the most recent results for your Sales, Technicians, CSR performance, as well as Agreement metrics. By default the Weekly results will now show when the Dashboard appears, making it faster and easier to view dynamic trends in your business.

Added: View and add Work Order Notes from the Dispatch Board

When assigning Dispatches, you need to be able to quickly view relevant information in order to assign the right Technician to the right Job without having to leave the Dispatch Board. FieldEdge has made it faster and easier to view and add Notes directly from the Dispatch Board by clicking on any Work Order in the Timeline or Work Order list.

Added: Ability to Initiate an Outbound Phone Call with a Single Click

Now, office users can click on any phone number in FieldEdge to initiate an outbound phone call, complete with call tracking and recording capabilities. In addition, you can specify a Call-Out Lead Source or Employee phone number so that customers see the Caller ID number that you want them to see.

Miscellaneous Updates

  • Added the following merge codes to Communication Templates: Customer Name, Work Order Location, Billing Address, Phone Number, Email Address, Work Order Number, Invoice Number, Quote Number, Customer PO#, and more
  • Added ability to add Merge Codes to the Email Subject by providing the appropriate code
  • Added ability to search Customer PO# on the Work Orders and Invoice lists
  • Added the ability to view Quote conversion percentages on the Dashboard’s Sales Leaderboard
  • Added Customer’s Display Name to Invoices or Quotes when name information is blank
  • Added ability to print all Customer Invoices (created after May 12, 2017) from the Customer Invoices tab and Customer Agreements tab
  • Added new report, “Agreement Payment Options,” to review all Agreement credit card payment methods
  • Added new report, “Anticipated Items Required,” to identify parts needed for upcoming Agreement visits
  • Customer list search results and Favorites lists are now sorted in alphabetical order
  • (From Mobile) Technicians can now add and edit Customer PO# on Work Orders
