Added: (Early Adopters*) Ability to Track Jobs Progressively

Building on the release of Job Management, FieldEdge now provides Progressive Billing with Jobs, including the following abilities.

• Added ability to track quoted Items across an entire Job
• Added ability to add one or more Items from a single Quote across multiple Invoices
• Added ability to track invoiced revenue against actual and estimated costs
• Added ability to create Invoices based on percentage of quoted income remaining to be billed for the job

*This feature is currently available for select Early Adopters. We will expand this feature for general use in an upcoming release.

Added: Ability to Customize Subject and Body of Invoice/Quote Email

With the new email “Preview” ability, FieldEdge allows you to customize the subject and body of an email message when sending an Invoice or Quote from the office. The default email message is automatically generated from your settings, but office users have the ability to see the exact message that the customer will receive and customize the text before sending, making the message more relevant and personalized for your customer.

Added: (From Mobile) Notifications for Work Order Assignments

Once enabled in your FieldEdge settings by an office administrator, technicians will receive mobile push notifications when there are assignment changes that affect their day. Technicians will be notified when they receive a new assignment, an existing assignment has changed, or an existing assignment has been removed or cancelled.

Added: Customer and Employee Signatures to Custom Forms for a Work Order

Customer, insurance, or legal requirements may at times demand an employee or customer signature when inspecting a piece of equipment or completing a task questionnaire. FieldEdge now supports the ability to include or require a customer signature and/or an employee signature on each Custom Form for a Work Order..

Miscellaneous Updates

• Added separate fields, if present on a report or list and exported, to include: Address, City, State, Zip, Lead Source, and Task
• Added ability to print Quotes from Customer view or Jobs view
• Time Entries by Employee report, when exported, is now sorted by Employee and then by Date/Time
• Deposit amount field has been adjusted on the Work Order Invoice and Quote screens
• Sales Performance report, when viewing All records: the Sold, Quoted, and Missed subtotal amounts are not broken out individually
• Added ability to search equipment by Serial Number on the Equipment list
• Added ability to search customers by primary Email Address on Customer list
• Renamed “Set Add Expenses to as Non-Billable Invoice Item Checkbox” to “Add Expenses to Invoice by Default.”
• Added ability to apply payments to Invoices from closed periods in QuickBooks Desktop
• (From Mobile) Equipment Serial Number is now shown on the Equipment list
