Categories allow you to sort, and report on, your items in various areas of FieldEdge.
1. Navigate to Settings in the top of FieldEdge and then select Categories under the Inventory section.
2. Here you can view the Categories for your Items in FieldEdge.
3. To add a new Category click Add Category in the top right.
4. Image (optional): Clicking the image outline will allow you to upload a picture for this category that will be displayed in FieldEdge.
5. Name: The name of the Category.
6. Is sub-category (optional): Checking this box will allow you to select a Parent Category for organization purposes.
7. Active: Control if this Category is an available choice to assign to your items.
8. Click Create.
