Overview
Technicians in the field are often pressed for time. So, we've ensured that searching for an item with the FieldEdge Mobile app is quick and easy. Follow the instructions below to learn how to search for an item when using FieldEdge Mobile.
Instructions
1. Start by opening the associated Work Order from the work order list.
- Note: You will need to make sure the work order is in a 'Working' status to add an item. If you are not, FieldEdge will display a popup asking if you would like to change the status.
2. Next, navigate to either the Quote or Invoice screen by swiping to the left, or clicking on the appropriate dot/image at the bottom of the screen, then click Add Items.
3. This will navigate to your Pricebook. From here, click the Search Bar at the top and enter the item name or description. FieldEdge will begin searching for the item as you're typing.
4. Next, you can click the item to view and add it to the work order, or you can simply check the box to add one of the items to the work order.
5. Repeat these steps to add other items to the work order.
