We're finally ready to close the books in Q1 of 2023, but we think it's a good idea to first look back at what updates we've released in the past quarter. New Basic Mobile App

The FieldEdge Basic license has undergone a facelift and with it comes a new mobile application with modernized design and functionality. We've created this new application based on member feedback. You should see better performance with an updated and easier-to-use interface. Click HERE to learn more about the new FieldEdge Basic application.

Time Entry Consolidation

Just like the idle entries, we're updating the time entries for work orders to combine all entries into a single line. This will help keep things organized when processing payroll.

Enhanced List Features

We've updated the work orders list to be more in line with other list views in FieldEdge. We've added the ability to search by invoice and quote numbers when using the search bar on the work orders list.

Just like we've updated the work orders list, we've added the same search functionality to the quote list. Now you will be able to search by the work order number when using the search functionality on the quote list.

New Pricing Rules

Members have requested the ability to round to the nearest dollar amounts when using flat rates on their customer invoices. With this update, we've added new options in the pricing rules to enable rounding. This option will apply to flat rates created within FieldEdge or those using the FieldEdge Flat Rate program.

Integration Leads Feature

In an effort to keep job opportunities and leads more visible, we're adding the ability to link accepted dispatch leads to an existing work order. You'll now see a new button to "Link to Existing WO" on accepted dispatch leads. This will allow leads to be attached to an existing work order easily.

Parts Requests, Vendors, and More!

We're working to increase visibility and functionality between FieldEdge and the synced accounting package. With this release, we'll be adding a vendor list within FieldEdge. This list will display the list of vendors that are available and being synced from your accounting package into FieldEdge. Make sure to keep an eye out for future updates to this list and how FieledEdge and your accounting package will sync.

We've added the ability to create a part request without needing a work order, along with the ability to email a bulk part request to your vendors, all from within FieldEdge. You'll notice that part requests have been moved behind the new Purchases hub. This will bring a high-level view of the most often-used areas of the parts request list. You can still navigate to the part requests list by clicking the View All option from the purchases hub, or you can access it through the reports menu. In an effort to make things more efficient for users, we've updated the functionality of the part request list. We've made it so that when clicking on the part request number in the part request column, the edit screen will now pop up. This should allow users to easily edit a part request without having to navigate to the part request screen.
